Vu Le

Vu is a dual-credentialed attorney and CPA. She practices in the areas of business and tax planning, both domestic and international; federal and state tax litigation; and white-collar defense.

Vu’s practice is built on a diverse background. She received her CPA license in 2008 and gained experience in financial reporting and auditing. Vu subsequently graduated from SMU’s Dedman School of Law, where she focused on corporate and international taxation. During her studies, Vu worked for the IRS’s Office of Chief Counsel and served the SMU Taxpayer’s Clinic, representing taxpayers in a wide variety of tax controversies. Her previous clients include non-profits, fortune 500 companies, one of the world top private equity companies, and individuals.

Prior to joining the firm, Vu worked as a tax professional with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and a multi-national investment firm. Because of her diverse background, Vu has a deep grounding in financial and tax accounting. This perspective and knowledge base allows her to guide clients through a wide array of complex domestic and international transactions.

Vu previously served as a senior associate at a real estate firm, focusing on real estate transactions. She is experienced with the various tax and regulatory issues involved in real estate transactions. Vu has served as a lecturer for the State Bar of Texas, educating state bar members on the effects of FIRPTA and other international and real estate tax rules.

Vu currently serves as the vice-chair of the State Bar of Texas International Tax Committee. She is also the DAYL Animal Welfare Chair for the 2018 year and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.
